These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you (“client,” “traveler,” “you,” or “your”) and Just a Dream Away Vacations (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By submitting a travel inquiry, requesting a quote, booking travel services, making a payment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Role as a Travel Advisor
Just a Dream Away Vacations is an independent travel planning and booking service. We arrange travel services on your behalf with third-party suppliers, which may include (but are not limited to) airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, theme park providers, transportation vendors, and travel insurance providers.
We do not own, operate, or control these suppliers. All travel services are subject to each supplier’s individual terms, conditions, and rules.
2. Quotes, Pricing, and Availability
Prices and availability can change at any time until booked and/or paid according to supplier requirements.
Supplier promotions may be modified or withdrawn without notice.
We are not responsible for supplier pricing errors, availability changes, or discontinued offers.
If we identify an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to correct it before booking.
3. Payments & Authorization
A. Deposits and Final Payments
Many reservations require a deposit to secure the booking.
Final payment deadlines are set by suppliers.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and/or loss of funds already paid.
B. Payment Processing
Payment information is processed securely through third-party payment systems and/or directly through the supplier. We do not store full credit card numbers.
By providing payment information, you authorize charges for the travel components you approve, including deposits, final payments, and any supplier-approved add-ons.
4. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
A. Supplier Policies Control
All change, cancellation, and refund rules are set by the supplier(s). These policies may include non-refundable deposits, change fees, penalties, or no refunds for certain fare types, ticket categories, or reservations.
Just a Dream Away Vacations cannot override supplier policies.
B. Client-Initiated Changes or Cancellations
If you cancel or modify your trip, you are responsible for any penalties or fees charged by suppliers. Certain cancellations and change requests may be required in writing (email is acceptable).
5. Service Fees and Consultation-Only Requests
In most cases, we do not charge planning fees when you book your travel through us.
However, there may be situations where a service fee applies, including (but not limited to):
Extensive research, custom itinerary building, or ongoing planning support when no travel is booked through us
Standalone consulting services (example: reviewing a trip you booked elsewhere, strategy planning, or troubleshooting)
Requests that require significant time, multiple revisions, or specialized planning outside of a confirmed booking
If a service fee applies, we will clearly communicate the fee amount and what it covers before proceeding. Service fees (when charged) are non-refundable and are separate from supplier charges. Travel insurance typically does not cover service fees.
6. Client Responsibilities
A. Accurate Traveler Information
You are responsible for providing accurate traveler details, including legal names (matching government ID), dates of birth, and any required documentation details. Errors may result in fees, delays, denied boarding, or cancellation. You are responsible for any costs to correct mistakes.
B. Travel Documents and Entry Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you meet all entry requirements, which may include passports, visas, vaccination requirements, or other documentation. Requirements can change at any time.
We are not responsible if you are denied entry, denied boarding, or unable to travel due to documentation issues.
C. Reviewing Your Documents
Once confirmations and travel documents are sent, you must review them promptly and notify us of any errors as soon as possible.
7. Travel Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment and help cover unexpected issues such as cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, interruptions, or lost baggage.
If you decline travel insurance, you accept responsibility for any financial loss that results from cancellation, changes, delays, medical events, or supplier disruptions.
8. Assumption of Risk
Travel may involve risks outside of anyone’s control, including illness, injury, weather events, delays, cancellations, supplier changes, government actions, and other unforeseen circumstances.
By booking travel, you voluntarily assume these risks.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Just a Dream Away Vacations is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by acts or omissions of suppliers or third parties.
We are not responsible for supplier bankruptcy, overbooking, mechanical failures, strikes, weather events, government actions, or other events outside our control.
If liability is found, it is limited to the amount of commission and/or service fees actually received by us for the booking.
10. Independent Bookings
We are not responsible for reservations you make independently (including flights, hotels, tickets, or excursions booked without us). If independently-booked components impact your trip (timing changes, cancellations, missed connections), we may not be able to troubleshoot or resolve those issues with the supplier.
11. Website Use & Intellectual Property
You agree to use our website and forms for lawful purposes only and not to submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with functionality.
All website content (text, branding, logos, images, and materials) is owned by Just a Dream Away Vacations or used with permission and may not be reused for commercial purposes without written consent.
12. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
13. Booking Region
We primarily serve clients booking travel within North America and for North America-based departures and suppliers. Some destinations, suppliers, or services may have additional documentation requirements, policies, or restrictions.
14. SMS Messaging Terms
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Just a Dream Away Vacations, you agree to receive text messages related to your travel inquiries, quotes, bookings, confirmations, reminders, itinerary updates, and important trip-related communications. Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with our services. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to receive SMS messages.
15. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The most current version will be posted on our website with the updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
